Abstract Eu1-xLnx(BA)3Phen(Ln: Gd,La,Y;BA: benzonic acid;Phen: phenanthroline; x=0.0-0.9) complexes are synthesized, and their similar structures showed by IR spectra.Fluorescence spectra indicate that the complexes can emit intense characteristic fluorescence from europium ion and the doping elements can enhance the fluorescence intensities of central europium ion and have co-fluorescence effect.
