Preliminary Study on Identification of Heroin from Different Route with Clustering Analysis by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy |

Abstract In the present paper, using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) absorption spectrometry, the characteristic peaks of fingerprint infrared spectra of heroin samples from different routes were identified with clustering analysis successfully. It is a very fast, simple and reliable method. That is to say, a new method for the discrimination of heroin seizured from different routes is provided.
