Abstract：Shenrong Heiｘi Wan is a pure traditional Jiangｘi medicine which has been mainly used to cure coma in clinic as its main function is resuscitation． In this paper，four trace elements in Shenrong Heiｘi Wan and other five traditional Chinese medicines have been determined and contrasted by AAS. The results show that there are abundant benificial trace elements in Shenrong Heiｘi Wan while pernicious trace elements such as Hg，Cd etc. are low. So the medicine is safe to taｋe.
