Abstract:In the present paper the authors measured and analyzed the dispersion and absorption characteristics of the bulk ZnSe(110) in THz region using transmission THz time domain spectroscopy. After fitting the experiment data according to the Drude theory, the authors obtained the low-frequency dielectric constant and the high-frequency dielectric constant. The authors also observed the absorption by multi-phonon processes.
