Abstract:The objective of the present paper was to determine the amount of metal elements in the rape pollen from different regions by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry (FAAS). FAAS method was established for the determination of K, Na, Ca, Mg, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mn, Cd, Cr and Pb in the rape pollen. The samples were incinerated and then digested with HNO3-HClO4(V∶V=4∶1) at 90-95 ℃ and under normal pressure. In the meantime, the optimum parameters of FAAS and the effects of solution medium on the results were studied. The analytical results of K, Na, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn rape pollen from different habitats respectively were 4 248.00, 75.77, 312.10, 856.61, 599.53, 8.78, 27.82, 22.54 μg·g-1 and 7 585.75, 242.56, 287.88, 699.43, 1 020.65, 10.25, 40.44, 30.97 μg·g-1,while Co, Ni, Cd, Cr and Pb were not checked out in the samples. The results showed that the recovery of standard addition was 95.22%-105.49%, and the RSD(n=9) was 0.30%-5.00%. The characteristic method is quick, simple and convenient, and the results are satisfactory.
