Abstract In this study, K and L shell photoeffect cross-sections were measured for the elements in the range of 50≤Z≤65 at 59.5 keV. These photoeffect cross-sections were measured by using the experimental σKα production cross-section values measured in this paper and two different K shell fluorescence yield values in the literature. The results were compared with the calculated theoretical values. The values were plotted versus atomic number.
