Abstract The phosphors SrS：Eu and CaS：Eu doped with Mn were prepared by sulfurization flux method (SFM). Infrared photostimulated luminescence (PSL) of both the phosphors were measured. The PSL peak wavelength of SrS：Eu，Mn is 610 nm. Comparing the storage intensities, SrS has better optical properties. The doping of Mn2+ increases photon amount and improves the storage properties.
